Listen to a sound effect.

Simple enough... a door creaks than slams.

Now hear the resulting composition.

All of the sounds used in the composition stem from the original sound effect. Obviously, considerable digital signal processing was used, notably pitch shifting and time expansion.

 

Listen to another sound effect.

An "expensive crystal goblet" is knocked over, rolls off the table, and shatters on the floor.

Now hear the second composition.

Again, considerable pitch shifting and time expansion was used in Pro Tools to create the piece.
