Camping Inventory
We bring a lot of gear with us, especially on longer trips. Since we travel by car to drive-up campgrounds, this is not too big a deal.
We've organized most of our camping gear into "tribes," each in its own color-coded stuffsack:

| Spice Tribe | Medium Red | spices, salt & pepper, cocoa, coffee/tea |
| Water Tribe | Medium Blue | sponges & scrubbers, dishsoap, tablecloth, water containers |
| Wind Tribe | Small Blue | stakes, rubber mallet and stake puller |
Long Tribe—Large Violet Sack, containing:
- Bag of 4 wooden Marshmallow Sticks
- 4 metal Hot Dog Skewers
- Smores Grill or Fish Grills
- Aluminum Foil
- Large Black Turner
- Large Black Ladle
- Bread Knife in plastic sheath
- Large Cutting Knife in plastic sheath

We also have a Thule Excursion Rooftop Box that adds about 13 cubic feet of space to the 16 cubic feet in our car. Things we put up there include:
- small 6x8' tarp
- A 2x4' Lifetime folding table for food prep and our stove.
- 4 Coleman folding camp chairs
- Tent (and often a Screen Hut)
- 4 Wanderstock (telescopic walking sticks)
- 2 Thermarest self-inflating pads
- 2 Campmor self-inflating pads
- Smaller Stuffsacks
In the cabin of the car, we take:
- 4 20° sleeping bags
- Dual Burner Coleman Camp Stove (uses white gasoline fuel)
- Large Blue Coleman Cooler
- Medium Red Rubbermaid Cooler
- 4 Waterpacks with daypack gear
- 4 Individual duffelbags with clothing & sundries
- Larger Stuffsacks
